Have been a loyal customer for years. The Turtle never disappoints--great, innovative specials, solid traditional fare, friendly service, cozy setting!

Nice little "mom and pop" restaurant.

Only come here if you want yummy food- good prices and great coffee. Came on Sunday morning- get here early or you’ll be waiting in line. They have specials - I had lobster crepes with Huge chucks of real lobster - doesn’t get better than this

Great food! One of the best diners on the shoreline! By far the best place to eat in Westbrook. The owner Ricky is absolutely amazing! What an awesome chef! Turtle cafe is a must stop if you are in Westbrook CT or the surrounding areas.

First time here. Small and cozy with great people. Food is good and priced right. Got a great breakfast with hash done right !!Will definitely be returning and this will probably become the go to for "lets meet for breakfast" meetings.

A nice surprise and extensive menu. Specials are amazing. Get the lobster crepes if you don’t like goat cheese sub feta like I did. One of the best things I’ve had all summer.

A wonderful place to get your brunch. The food is really delicious. You get to see how your food is cooked over the counter. Might take a bit longer (cause it’s always busy) but I promise you it’s worth the wait. Their coffee also tastes pretty good. Get home fries.

Wonderful prepared food, great service.

The food was delicious and watching it be prepared in front of you was like watching poetry in motion. Imagine a showy Cordon Bleu chef working in a good old fashioned greasy spoon. We will be back!

Cute mom and pop breakfast/lunch place. If you have not been and are looking for something new, you have to try it. Home made food prepared right in front of you. Chef chats with you as hes cooking. Large selection on menu and very reasonable prices. Weekends are busy & seating is limited.

On the hottest day of the year (so far!) They turned off the air conditioning--or so low that it amounted to the same thing. The beverages were room temperature and I had to ask for a glass of ice. The ice was misting because the restaurant was so warm! A bit too parsimonious if you ask me. The prices are not so low that they are battling with a razor thin profit margin. A wonderful place, great breakfasts, but there's more to dining than just food. Guys, chill! Literally.The portions are huge. So are many of the customers. The dots are easily connected.

Always a great breakfast! Ricky is a pro and the food is always spot on! If there is a line, wait! It is always worth the wait. If they are available, try the lobster crepes! You will not be disappointed!

My family and I walked in at 10:40 am, after a fair drive, we were greatly looking forward to having breakfast. As soon as walking in we were addressed by one of the servers informing us that they had Just stopped serving breakfast and transition into lunch at 11am, 20 minutes away. While we looked at breakfast plates in the window waiting to be served and the cooks making more breakfast plates yet, we were turned away from having breakfast. No where on their website says we will be refused breakfast 10:40 am. It goes hand in hand, when a place grows to be too good for there guests, us guests should be too good to enable them.

My family and I love coming here for breakfast. The owners are so friendly and their staff is great. They have an extensive menu - there's something for everyone. Fresh, homemade and so delicious. We're regulars. It's the best breakfast place around!

Our first time here, wonderful breakfast and loved watching them cook before our eyes. We will be back!

This place is literally my favorite restaurant ever. I first went there when I was about 10 or 11. I’m 16 and it’s still the best restaurant I’ve ever stepped into. The food? Absolutely delicious! The service? Incredible. The people? Some of the nicest people I’ve met. They work so hard, and make amazing food. The drive to the Turtle Cafe from my house is an hour so I can only go on special occasions but if lived closer I’d go every day and I’d never get sick of the food. You haven’t lived until you’ve tasted the food here!!

My daughter and I have visited the Turtle Cafe on two occasions and it is becoming a family tradition for Sundays. Rick and the staff are very courteous and nice. My daughter loves to sit at the counter and watch Rick perform his magic! The food is very good, albeit I stick to the 2 Eggs bacon and home fries. However, seeing the different dishes going out to the customers makes me want to venture out and try something new!

I’ve visited the cafe a few days ago and the service was amazing! The staff was friendly and made me feel at home. The food was worth the wait and it was delicious!

Just as we walked in we were greeted immediately with no wait time. And they were very accommodating! Contrary to how small it may look, the inside felt perfectly homely. Ordering was simple, but difficult because everything looked delicious! Boy, was I excited!Soon, our food arrived and it was piping hot! Upon setting the trays down, I was hit with the most amazing aroma. Couldn’t wait to dig in. Kindness, along with charm, was what I was given by the wonderful and beautiful waitress! So, read the first letter of each sentence.

I love this place. I have eaten here twice and been very impressed both times. you can sit and watch your food being prepared. I had the wild mushroom and chicken crepes and they were amazing.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to get breakfast this morning and we found turtle cafe. I got the Nutella crepe and I was so amazed I’ve never willingly wanted to finish a meal and I just couldn’t get enough of it. Fantastic service, fantastic food. So good 10/10 recommend.

This place is a gem! The food is spectacular and watching Chef Ricky cook is always a treat. Grab a stool at the counter or find a cozy table. Crepes and Frittatas are our family favorites.

This is our #1choice for breakfast when visiting the area. Innovative, healthy food choices served by a friendly staff at reasonable prices. Make sure to try the clam hash or the delicious fruit cup. Counter and table seating in an intimate space. There may be a wait on weekends.

Breakfast was delicious but the servers are something else. Ordered eggs, sausage and home fries. When the food was delivered I inquired about the home fries and she said they will be right out. Finished the eggs and sausage and when I inquired again about the home fries she said he never cooked them and hasn’t started them. My question to the server is did you ever tell him? Probably not. They did take it off the bill but the point is you should check your plates before you deliver them.

*****BEST BREAKFAST EVER*****Kevin and I were driving to Vermont on Oct 13th to our friend marrige. We were looking for a nice place for a breafast. I always like to goto small local town shop. I'm not a big fan off Franchies.Thanks to Google that we found Turtle Cafe in CT. We reached there about 7 am and it was already 75% full. We both had the best breakfast ever. We both met with owner Mr. Sharma. Him and his team were very friendly. I wish if this place near to NYC so I visit there more often. Thanks

Had such a great breakfast here with my boyfriend. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. The servers were great and the food was awesome!! This is our go to breakfast spot in the area!! Highly recommend.
